DSW produces metal powders on Fe, Ni and Co base by gas atomisation. This yields spherical powder particles with a particle size distribution of 0–250 µm.
For additive manufacturing the typical fraction is 20–53 µm; custom fractionation is available. The spherical particle shape ensures good flowability and high packing density during processing.
Under the Printdur® brand, DSW offers metal powders from standard alloys as well as customer- and application-specific new developments.
